PUR Microfilter is a non-chemical portable device intended to provide drinking water meeting or surpassing US Public Health bacteria standards from virtually any normally treatable fresh water source. PUR unit removes water-borne harmful bacteria, giardia and other cysts, tapeworms, and protozoan organisms, chlorine and other pesticides, TCE, EDB, Temik, PCB, THM, and other organic chemical pollutants, tastes and odors, sediment, dirt, rust, scale, microscopic particles and radioactive solids.
