The HC22E1003 Honeywell Water Pads have an Agion antimicrobial silver coating on them that encompasses a natural resistance to bacteria growth. The silver coating is tested and proven to be safe and non toxic. When used with one of the corresponding Honeywell humidifiers listed above, the HC22E1003 water panel is designed to last an entire season. Depending on how many seasons you use your humidifier, will determine how many times a year your water panel will need to be changed. Those who solely humidify during the winter season will only need to change the water panel once per year. *Important Note: The change rate also depends on the hardness of your water.
