We have an older Braun coffee maker that makes the best coffee. It's a simple machine with a thermal carafe. Just an on/off switch that automatically shuts off after 10 or 15 minutes.No programming ability, no clock, etc. We have tried many other coffee makers, some costing close to $200, but nothing makes as good a cup of coffee as this Braun. Unfortunately, for some unknown reason, Braun stopped making it. It's been very difficult finding these water filter inserts. These fit perfectly and seem to do a fine job.

I know there are a lot of diehard coffee drinkers out there that will tell you that a filter does not make a difference. But I would challenge them all to take a sip of fresh brewed from a Braun coffee maker with this filter installed. I was a non believer as well well but I have been converted. Only irritation I have is that my local stores have stopped stocking this item. But with the prompt service I received from Amazon's sellers that irritation has quickly faded.

These filters are almost impossible to find in stores in the USA much less Mexico. A simple Amazon search turned up the filters.
