1812/2012 RO Membrane Housing Kit for 24-150 GPD Reverse Osmosis Water Purifier Standard Size: Membrane Solutions 1812/2012 Reverse osmosis housing, with a universal size, is compatible with most of the standard-sized residential RO membranes, including 24 GPD /36 GPD /50 GPD /75 GPD /100 GPD /150GPD . Fits for APEC Water Systems, Express Water, GE, Home Master, iSpring, SimPure, etc. Durable Construction: Manufactured with FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene), thicker constructed, the membrane housing provides better pressure resistance, excellent anti-explosion performance, and heat insulation property. It resists acids, alcohol, ammonia, oils, plating solutions, and other corrosive chemicals. Efficient Leakage Protection: Designed and manufactured with a thicken unibody and a dual o-ring sealing leakage protection to ensure drinking safety, compression resistance, and explosion-proof strength. You can also take it as part of your DIY water filtration system for drinking or getting concentrated maple sap. How to Change RO Housing and Membrane? Turn off the feed water supply line valve to the RO system and the valve on the water tank. Open the RO faucet and allow the pressure in the system to bleed off. Remove the blue safety clip, push down the collect and push out the tubing to disconnect from the membrane housing. Use the wrench to remove the membrane housing cap. Use pliers to remove the used membrane, discard and insert the new membrane. The end with 2 little washers goes in first, push until you feel it seats securely into the membrane housing. Replace and tighten the membrane housing cap. Reconnect the removed tubing and put back the blue safety clip. Note: If you can't put back the housing cap easily, twist the RO membrane gently to get it correctly seat to the pure water outlet.
